No visit to Sydney is complete without walking the famous Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. So, of course, I had to do it too! And I took my parents, fiance, and sister on it too. My fiance wasn’t too happy about that. Oh well! He had to suck it up and walk with us.

Bondi to Coogee basic information
Length: 6km or 3,5miles
Walk time: 1-3 hrs – it really depends on how many times you stop. We stopped so many times so if I remember correctly it took us even longer
Difficulty level: Easy, there are some stairs on the way but nothing drastic
Starting/Finishing point: Icebergers at Bondi beach or Coogee beach – it depends from which side you start
I will share some of my favorite photos with you here. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best weather, but it got better later on.

Bondi Beach
So we started our walk on Bondi beach. It was super cloudy and windy, but since we had only a few days in Sydney and the forecast was even worse, we went for a walk anyways. We started at the Bondi Icebergs and we could even spot some surfers trying to catch waves in this weather.

Tamarama Beach
I have to say this area is probably my favorite. I just love the rock formations and colorful houses in this section. Plus we met the cutest puppies ever!

Bronte Beach
Another beautiful beach with ocean pool. A lot of beaches around Australia has this kind of pools, especially in New South Wales.

The Waverly Coogee Cemetery
Probably cemetery with the best view in the whole world! It can’t get much better than this.

Clovelly Beach & Gordons Bay
Clovelly beach is long and narrow. Not as impressive as the ones before. But shortly after you get to Gordons Bay. Another one of my favorites with all the white boats on the shore.

Coogee Beach
And when you see this statue you know you arrived at Coogee beach. If you don’t have enough walking by now you have other options. Either you turn around and walk back to Bondi, or you continue to Maroubra beach. That’s gonna be another 5km from here.
